| NUS-Norton Rose Debate 2010 - Results |
 The academics beat the lawyers this year in the NUS - Norton Rose Debate 2010. The team from NUS walked away with the top prize including the title of Best Speaker which was given to Professor Amirthalingam Kumaralingam. As always, the SAL annual debate was an evening of wit and hearty entertainment. It was full house this year with 300 participants including lawyers, academics and law students from NUS and SMU. |

| SAL Distinguished Speaker Series: Inaugural Lecture 2010 “Freezing Orders in International Commercial Litigation” |
 The Honourable James Jacob Spigelman AC, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, delivered the inaugural lecture of the SAL Distinguished Speaker Series on 06 May 2010.
