The LawNet Management Committee of the Academy sets global objectives and policy guidelines for the use of LawNet and legal information technology within the legal and business sectors. It appoints working groups for specific projects and modules within LawNet, and set objectives for, provides policy guidance to, approve work plans and proposals of, and review the progress of, the working groups. It also monitors and reviews the use of LawNet services, and provides policy and service guidelines for the promotion of LawNet services.

The Committee comprises members drawn from the Judiciary (Supreme and Subordinate Courts), private practice, government departments and legal bodies (such as Min Law, SLA, IDA, IPOS, AGC and ACRA) as well as the Law Society itself. The Committee is chaired by the Honourable Justice Lee Seiu Kin and includes representatives from the Bar, academics and Legal Service officers.
