The annual lecture series was inaugurated in 1994 by the then Lord Chief Justice of England, the late Lord Taylor of Gosforth. It is the highlight of Academy’s annual events calendar. Every year, distinguished legal personages from various jurisdictions are invited to deliver a lecture attended by distinguished members of the Bench and the legal fraternity. Past speakers include the Chief Justices of England, Australia and Canada.
