Electronic Discovery Law and Practice in Singapore & UK

This session will engage practitioners in a discussion of such issues, and will also provide updates on case law and other developments.

  Electronic Discovery – What Corporate Counsel Need To Be Aware of

Electronic discovery is a fledgling concept in most of Asia Pacific, however it is becoming an important weapon in litigation as a result of the use of technology in all aspects of life. Corporate counsel need to be aware of the issues that arise when litigation arises or an investigation is initiated. This session will give corporate counsel a perspective of the challenges faced in cross border electronic discovery requests, dealing with the issue of privilege (or lack thereof) across jurisdictions and working with external counsel.
