Tax Essentials Series for Young Corporate Lawyers:
Taking On Tax as A Young Corporate Lawyer

6 March 2020, 10.30am-12.00pm

Tax needn’t be taxing. After all, corporate lawyers already handle a lot in day-to-day work. But an added understanding of tax would help you add even more value to your organisations, setting you apart from your peers.  But where do you start? Tax issues range from tax treaties to audits and tax litigation.

This session equips you with the essentials and helps you understand how to grow in the corporate law space. Join Mr Eugene Lim and his multi-disciplinary panellists, Mr Tang Siau Yan, Chief Legal Officer, IRAS, Ms Ong Ken Loon, Head, Tax & Private Client Services, Drew & Napier, Mr Sam Sim, Senior Advisor, University of Vienna Institute for Austrian and International Law Global Tax Policy Center, Member of Practice Council, New York University School of Law Member, International Association of Tax Judges for an interactive session.

The session is especially useful for those with a keen interest beyond legal technicalities and development of the law.
