Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be assisting in the finance operations of SAL Group, including its subsidiaries. Your key responsibiities are:

  • Assist in general ledger, journal, AP, AR, month-end closing and year-end closing for SAL subsidiaries
  • Prepare reconciliation statements, monthly schedules, year-end audit schedules for SAL subsidiaries
  • Prepare reports in accordance with statutory requirements and companies’ requirements (e.g. financial & management reports, annual financial statements, quarterly and annual surveys from various government bodies, charity reporting, etc.)
  • Assist in annual budgets
  • Assist in managing cash flow and fixed deposits to meet daily operational needs
  • Assist in tax compliance matters, including GST, corporate tax, withholding tax
  • Assist subsidiaries in complying with the companies’ financial policies and procedures
  • Assist in requirement specifications, user acceptance testing and migration of new accounting and finance-related systems
  • Assist to provide guidance to junior/temporary staff in their works
  • Possess at least Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualifications with at least 3 years’ relevant experience, preferably with full set of accounts
  • Familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
  • Team player, meticulous, independent, good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Good organisational skills and attention to details
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
