Data and Digital Economy Law Course for Legal and Industry Practitioners

This 23-hour programme is specifically for candidates sitting for the Specialist Accreditation Scheme examination. The programme is also open to audit. 

Covering topics traversing the Data and Digital Economy landscape, participants can look forward to expert instruction by respected practitioners in the field and become familiar with or gain greater understanding of this expansive practice area at the end of the programme.

As this is not a basic course, participants should have at least 5 years of Data and Digital Economy Law/TMT practice experience. Non-legal professionals from the tech industry may also register but they should have a good foundation in this area of law, for example, by having attended executive TMT law courses. Participants are expected to be familiar with the basic concepts including governing laws and regulations.

SkillsFuture Credit

All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses. Certificate of Completion

Course participants will receive an electronic certificate of participation at the end of the course so long as they attend at least 80% of the course.

Participants who wish to obtain CPD Points are reminded that they must comply strictly with the Attendance Policy set out in the CPD Guidelines. For this activity, this includes signing in on arrival and signing out at the conclusion of the activity on each day of the activity, in the manner required by the organiser, and not being absent from the entire activity for more than 15 minutes on each day of the activity. 
 
Participants who attend Day 1 and comply strictly with the Attendance Policy on that day may obtain 5 Public CPD Points. 
Participants who attend Day 2 and comply strictly with the Attendance Policy on that day may obtain 6 Public CPD Points. 
Participants who attend Day 3 and comply strictly with the Attendance Policy on that day may obtain 6 Public CPD Points. 
Participants who attend Day 4 and comply strictly with the Attendance Policy on that day may obtain 6 Public CPD Points.
