[Webinar] Practical Aspects of Valuation in the Courtroom
24 November 2020, 4.00pm-5.30pm
Commercial disputes involving business valuation often require experts to either prepare a business valuation report or conversely analyse the report prepared by the opposing party. A business valuation report in connection with a litigation matter needs to be sufficiently thorough and complete to withstand adversarial legal proceedings. As these reports will be dissected and subject to a high degree of scrutiny, lawyers should always engage business valuation professionals who are well versed in valuation theory and the generally-accepted methodologies and techniques accepted by the courts in these cases. This webinar will allow participants to understand the key inclusions required in a valuation report for an effective case preparation. Two cases decided in the High Court of Singapore will also be used to facilitate the learning process for participants.
